The unveiling of the original painting celebrating the life and career of Mr. Woodrow Lowe.
Mr. Skipper will be joined by Mr. Woodrow Lowe Jr. and family.
Woodrow Lowe Sr. was an All-SEC and All-American linebacker for the University of Alabama under Coach Paul W. Bryant — an Alabama and San Diego Charger legend.
Official painting & limited edition
Mr. Skipper has received a formal commission from the family and estate of Mr. Hank Aaron to create the official commemorative painting and limited edition celebrating his life and career.
The painting will be unveiled in February of 2027.

Coach Nick and Terry Saban have chosen artist Steve R. Skipper's commemorative artwork to be featured at the coming Saban Center, now under construction in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Washington, D.C.
Artist Steve R. Skipper has been commissioned to create formal portraits of the Board of Directors of the Fine Arts Commission of Washington, D.C.
The seven individual portraits will be completed in 2027.

The first African American to complete artwork sanctioned by NASCAR, the University of Alabama, the PGA and the PBR.
Commissions are accepted on a limited basis. Inquiries regarding original works, commemorative editions and exhibition appearances may be directed to the studio.
