The new Commemorative Original Oil Painting and Limited Edition celebrates the illustrious 75th anniversary of the Magic City Classic between Alabama A&M and Alabama State Universities.
This project dedicated to the memory of all present and past Alumni of these two distinguished Universities of Alabama State and Alabama A&M. In loving memory of Mrs. Mamie Labon Foster and Mrs. Mary Cline Bentley. In deep honor of Miss Linda H. Jones. It was formally commissioned by The Bruno Event Team and Alabama State and Alabama A&M Universities.
⢠Collectorâs Edition Giclée (strictly limited to 375 prints) - The Collectorâs Edition is a higher definition print produced by the giclée printing process. The term giclée (zhee-clay) is French meaning âspraying of inkâ. Giclée prints are produced on a 12-color printer utilizing archival inks transferred onto an acid-free cotton rag paper. Giclée printers are able to produce a wider range of colors and higher definition detail than possible with traditional lithographic printing.
Each Collectorâs Edition Giclée has an image area of approximately 25" x 19â and is hand-signed and individually numbered in pencil by the artist in the lower margin of the print. Each Collector's Edition Giclée will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
⢠Standard Edition Canvas Giclée (strictly limited to 75 canvases)- The Standard Edition Canvas is produced by the same giclée method as the Giclée prints (above). The canvas Giclées are produced on a 12-color printer using archival inks transferred on to a canvas substrate. Using the giclée method, the canvas evokes the emotion, details, and subtleties of the original painting.
Each Standard Edition Canvas Giclée has an image area of approximately 37â x 26â and is hand-signed and numbered in oils by the artist on the lower portion of the canvas. Each canvas is accompanied by a Certificate of Limited Edition & an engraved brass title plate.
